By order of the Government of Ontario, outdoor recreational amenities, including basketball courts, baseball diamonds and soccer fields on DDSB property are closed. This decision was made in an effort to stop large gatherings where the spread of COVID-19 can happen. The use of playgrounds are still permitted. Physical distancing requirements and outdoor gathering limits still apply. We encourage all members of the DDSB community to stay safe and help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Earlier today, the Government of Ontario, on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health announced that all schools in Ontario will be closed to in-person learning after the April break due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases, the increasing risks posed to the public by COVID-19 variants, and the massive spike in hospital admissions.
