Bully Prevention and Intervention Plan
Bullying Prevention and Intervention is part of Durham District School Board (DDSB) Safe Schools initiative.
Research and experience show that bullying is a serious issue that has far-reaching consequences for individuals, their families, peers, and the community at large. If students who are bullied, who bully others, or who witness bullying receive the necessary support, they can learn effective strategies for interacting positively with others and promoting positive peer dynamics. Preventing bullying requires a Whole-School approach along with insights and input from parents and the community.
Report a bullying incident
Students and parents are encouraged to always contact a teacher or the school office when bullying occurs. Should you wish, you may also fill out an online bullying incident report if you experience or witness bullying.
Students, parents, guardians, friends and witnesses can report incidents. You can report an incident that takes place on or off school property.
